Abstract
A car unit, in particular for goods transport, consists of at least two car elements (1, 1') which are continuously connected to one another using buffers (2) and draw gear (3). A connecting linkage (4) which contains a plurality of joints (4a) with horizontal axis of rotation is coupled to the draw gear (3), by means of which connecting linkage (4) the car elements (1, 1') can be coupled to one another without play in the drawing direction and preferably with a slight pretensioning of the buffers (2). The connecting linkage (4) has inside at least one of its joints (4a) an elongate hole (4b) which is open in the pushing direction and is inclined at an angle with respect to the horizontal plane running through the centre of the associated coupling bolt (4c) in such a way that the connecting linkage (4) forcibly bends out downwards when buffer impacts occur. As a result, the connecting linkage (4) and the draw gear (3) are reliably protected against overloading. <IMAGE>
