Abstract

In a plate condenser (2) fluff from the process air settles, preeminently in the inflow region, on the plate surfaces arranged in the process-air circuit. To make it easier to clean the condenser plates (21), according to the invention there is a grating composed of strips (24) which cover the end edges of the plates and are connected to one another by means of narrow transverse ribs (25). These transverse ribs extend a short way in the direction of the process air between the plates (21) and are connected to one another at their ends by means of scraping lips (26, 32) arranged transversely thereto.
