Abstract

To improve soundproofing in sanitary installation units having a plurality of sanitary installation modules, all of the noise-producing sanitary installation components (25, 27) are incorporated in a noise-absorbent mineral-fibre bed (28). The pipes (27) are supported in their pipe clamps (29) in a noise-absorbent manner additionally by noise-insulating rings (30). The waste-water connection elbow (21) of each sanitary installation module is fitted into the mounting cavity (20) with all-round clearance in relation to the downwardly projected contour of the sanitary installation module, and is held in a noise-absorbent manner in a pipe clamp (22) by means of a noise-insulating ring (23). Extending between the sanitary installation modules are channel bodies (39), in which the waste-water conduits (40) connecting the waste-water connection elbows (21) are arranged in a noise-absorbent mineral-fibre bed (41). <IMAGE>
