Abstract

In a suction apparatus for suction extraction on textile machines, a suction connection opens out in a suction space underneath a frustoconical partition wall which has a central orifice. Above the partition wall extends a filter screen which, in the suction mode, serves for precipitating impurities from the sucked-in air and, in the cleaning mode, can have the flow passing through it in the reverse direction. The orifice (38) is made in a valve flap which, in the suction mode, acts as a non-return flap (34).
