Abstract

In order to improve an air outlet for ventilation installations in buildings, with an essentially cylindrical housing (1) and, arranged therein, a filter (10), and with central air outlet connection pieces (7), attached to the housing (1), with an outflow nozzle (7.1), in particular with a central spindle (5) which runs approximately along the housing axis and on which an outlet member (6) is height-adjustably arranged, for adjusting the degree of the opening direction and of the blowing direction of the air outlet in such a manner that with its aid odour influences can be eliminated without considerable additional constructional measures, subsequent installation for example for renovation of existing installations also being possible, it is proposed that the housing (1) of the air outlet is provided, on its side facing away from the air outlet, with a housing cover (2) with preferably centrally arranged fastening means for the filter which is designed as a filter cartridge (10; 10') with at least two sorbent layers (15.1; 15.2; 15.3), and that the filter cartridge (10; 10') has, on the side lying opposite the outflow opening (1.2), a cartridge cover (12), on which counter-means corresponding to the fastening means of the housing cover (3) are provided. <IMAGE>
