Abstract
The invention relates to a measuring device for registering the pendulum angle of a flexible holding means (2) for lifting apparatus, with a supporting element (1) arranged on a lifting mechanism, a cardanic joint (3) fastened between the supporting element and the holding means and having axes arranged at right angles to one another, and also measurement transducers allocated to the joint (3) and measuring the movement. In order to provide a measuring device of simple construction for registering the pendulum movement, which measuring device has a high accuracy, it is proposed that the measurement transducers be rotary encoders (4), and each rotary encoder (4) is connected with its measuring shaft (11) to a spindle (5, 5') of the joint (3) in order to directly receive the rotary movement of the spindles (5, 5'). <IMAGE>
