Abstract
With a blood measurement apparatus according to the invention, which is equipped with capillary tubes 16, 17, these can be filled with blood from blood drops of around 1 microlitre. This small quantity of blood can be produced by pricking a finger. The blood sample can then be arranged in an apparatus 1 which is equipped to measure the blood by transillumination. The tubes 16, 17 are mounted on a separate plate piece 6, and the tubes are secured in a V-shape in such a manner that the inlet ends lie closely adjacent to one another. This affords the possibility of filling two tubes at once and simultaneous measurement of one's own blood and a comparison with blood in, for example, a prepared tube. <IMAGE>
