Nach Ausziehen des Einstellineals b (Fig. 1) auf der der Zimmerecke entgegengesetzten Seite erfolgt derselbe Vorgang wie bei Punkt 4. Selbstverständlich muss vorher die Schablone abgenommen werden. Bei Bordlinien an der Decke werden die unteren Führungsrollen n wieder rechtwinklig umgeklappt.
Vorliegender Apparat unterscheidet sich von den bisher bekannten Vorrichtungen dieser Art in nachstehender Weise. Bei letzteren erfolgt die Übertragung der Muster entweder durch eine auf einer Walze aufgezogene mit Reliefmustern ausgestatteten Schablone, die den Farbstoff von einem Farbkissen abnimmt und auf die Wand überträgt oder mittels einer mit durchbrochenen Mustern versehenen Schablone, die in Form eines endlosen Bandes teils lose über Führungsrollen hängend, teils von Spannrollen geführt, den Farbstoff durch unmittelbares Überstreichen eines Walzenpinsels, teils mittelbar von diesem im Wege eines Spritzverfahrens zugeführt erhält.
Im vorliegendem Fall ist die mit durchbrochenen Mustern ausgestattete Schablone jedoch kein endloses Band, sondern sie erhält durch Einspannung zwischen zwei Führungsringen und durch das glatte Anliegen um den Mantel einer zentrisch angeordneten Farbbehältertrommel die starre Form eines zylindrischen Mantels und wird hiebei der Farbstoff nicht durch unmittelbare Berührung des Walzenpinsels mit der Schablone, sondern durch einen regulierbare Längsschlitz des Farbbehälters hindurch auf die Schablone übertragen.
Während bei den bisherigen Anordnungen die Hauptbestandteile, wie Walzenpinsel, Farbbehälter und Schablone meistens räumlich von einander getrennt angeordnet sind und dadurch einen komplizierten Verbindungsmechanismus erfordern, wird bei vorliegender Anordnung durch Unterbringung des ganzen Komplexes in eine geschlossene zylindrische Form mit Bedachtnahme auf die

The present apparatus differs from the previously known devices of this type in the following way. In the case of the latter, the pattern is transferred either through a stencil fitted with relief patterns on a roller, which removes the dye from a pad of paint and transfers it to the wall, or by means of a stencil with openwork patterns, which is in the form of an endless belt partly loosely over guide rollers hanging, partly guided by tensioning rollers, the dye is supplied by direct painting over a roller brush, partly supplied indirectly by this by means of a spraying process.
In the present case, however, the stencil, equipped with openwork patterns, is not an endless belt, but is given the rigid shape of a cylindrical jacket by being clamped between two guide rings and by the smooth contact with the jacket of a centrally arranged paint container drum, and the dye does not become in direct contact with it of the roller brush with the stencil, but through an adjustable longitudinal slot in the ink container onto the stencil.
