  Self-tie lira cotton.

The invention relates to the customary self-tying ties, which consist of a ribbon, one half of which is tied into a knot through which the second ribbon passes.

According to the invention. such a self-tie tie is now made from two differently patterned or colored ribbons which are easily detachably connected at their abutting ends, each of the two abutting ends both connecting elements of the selected closure, e.g. B. button and buttonhole, push button and pan. Has hook and eye or buckle and tongue.

As can be seen from the example illustrated in the drawing, the band'a'en forms a knot through which the band 1 is pulled. The abutting ends 3 of the bands 1 and 2 carry the connecting elements 5; in the case shown, snap fasteners are used. like that. that the buttons sit on one side of each band and the pans on the other. so that each end of the tape on one side or the other connected to the end of another tape
 EMI1.1

In this way a tie is formed in which the knot and tie are patterned differently. whereby the tie gains a distinctive appearance and depending on which of the two ribbons is tied to the knot, the tie has a different appearance.

By using two straps with the described connecting elements for a tie, it is now possible to button a large number of different looking ties from a few of these straps, i.e. i.e., in the presence of e.g. B. 4 ribbons you can tie 12 ties, with 6 ribbons 30 ties, etc.

In the same way, one gains the advantage that when one band wears out, the entire tie does not become unusable, but only this band needs to be replaced by another to obtain a ready-to-use tie.
