Im vorliegenden Falle wird durch dieses Mittel jedoch ein anderer Zweck erreicht. Es hat sich nämlich gezeigt, dass sich die einzelnen Lamellen des Federwerkes beim Hubwechsel voneinander abheben und hierauf wieder zusammenprallen, wodurch oft Brüche entstehen. Die weiche Zwischenlage dämpft das Zusammenschlagen der Lamellen jedoch genügend, um Brüche zu vermeiden. Ausserdem kann durch entsprechende Wahl des Materials für die Zwischenlagen die Reibung vermindert werden, so dass die Lamellen leicht aufeinander gleiten und daher die starke Durchbiegung des Federwerkes keine Veranlassung für Beschädigung der Lamellen bilden kann.
Das auf der Zeichnung als Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung in Seitenansicht dargestellte Federwerk eines mechanischen Hammers besteht aus Stahllamellen 1, zwischen welchen zwei Einlagen 2, 3 angeordnet sind. Die Einlagen bestehen aus ungefähr 8 bis 10 mes starken astfreien Längshölzern. Ihre Anordnung erfolgt zweckmässig symmetrisch zur Mittelebene und möglichst nahe an dieser.
Je zwei Einlagen werden voneinander durch eine Blattfeder getrennt. Die Anzahl der Einlagen kann auch geändert werden.
