Schraubbefestigung für Pinsel.
Die bekannten Schraubbefestigungen für Pinsel konnten bisher nur bei Griffen aus Metall, Bein oder einem anderen sehr harten Material verwendet werden. Durch die Erfindung wird es ermöglicht, auch bei Griffen aus den gebräuchlichen Holzarten die Schraubbefestigung anzuwenden, u. zw. wird dies erreicht durch einen mit Innengewinde versehenen Metallring, dessen dem Griff zugekehrte Stirnfläche mit Stacheln versehen ist, die in das Material des Griffes eindringen und dadurch dem Ring einen festen Sitz in dem Griff geben.
In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einem Ausführungsbeispiel dargestellt.
Fig. 1 zeigt den Axialschnitt durch den Pinsel, Fig. 2 und 3 Schnitt und Aufsicht auf den Gewindering.
Der Gewindering 1 ist aus einem Metallrohr hergestellt, das an einem Ende glatt abgestochen ist, während am anderen Ende eine Anzahl Aussparungen ausgeschnitten ist. Dadurch bleibt eine Reihe von Stacheln 2 stehen, die noch eine Zuspitzung erhalten und als Halteorgane für den Ring im Griff dienen. In die Innenfläche des Ringes ist ein kräftiges Gewinde 3 eingeschnitten, welches dem Aussengewinde der Borstenfassung 5 entspricht.
Der Griff 4 erhält auf der den Borsten zugekehrten Seite eine zylindrische Ausnehmung, deren Innendurchmesser dem Aussendurchmesser des Gewinderinges 1 entspricht. In diese Ausnehmung wird der Gewindering 1 eingedrückt, so dass seine Stacheln 2 in das Material des Griffes eindringen und ein dauerndes Festsitzen des Ringes im Griff gewährleisten.
Die Ringfassung 5 der Borsten wird zweckmässig als Manschette ausgebildet, deren äusserer Stulp 6 das Ende des Holzgriffes übergreift und dadurch einesteils einen Schutz für die Griffwandung und andernteils durch seine konische Innenfläche eine Sicherung gegen unbeabsichtigtes Lösen der Schraubverbindung darstellt.
Die beschriebene Pinselbefestigung in Verbindung mit der manschettenartig ausgebildeten Ringfassung der Borsten ergibt zwar die gefälligste Ausführungsform, jedoch ist die beschriebene Schraubbefestigung ebensogut bei einer einfachen Borstenfassung ausführbar. Ihre Anwendung ist durchaus nicht auf die Fabrikation der Rasierpinsel beschränkt, sie kann vielmehr bei jedem Pinsel, dessen Borsten in Ringfassung befestigt sind, angewendet werden.

Screw attachment for brush.
The known screw attachments for brushes could only be used for handles made of metal, legs or some other very hard material. The invention makes it possible to use the screw fastening even with handles made of common types of wood, u. zw. This is achieved by an internally threaded metal ring whose end face facing the handle is provided with spikes which penetrate the material of the handle and thereby give the ring a firm seat in the handle.
The subject of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows the axial section through the brush, Fig. 2 and 3 section and plan view of the threaded ring.
The threaded ring 1 is made of a metal tube which is cut smooth at one end, while a number of recesses are cut out at the other end. As a result, a number of spikes 2 remain, which are still tapered and serve as holding elements for the ring in the handle. A strong thread 3, which corresponds to the external thread of the bristle socket 5, is cut into the inner surface of the ring.
The handle 4 has a cylindrical recess on the side facing the bristles, the inside diameter of which corresponds to the outside diameter of the threaded ring 1. The threaded ring 1 is pressed into this recess so that its spikes 2 penetrate the material of the handle and ensure that the ring is permanently fixed in the handle.
The ring mount 5 of the bristles is expediently designed as a collar, the outer faceplate 6 of which overlaps the end of the wooden handle and thus on the one hand provides protection for the handle wall and on the other hand, its conical inner surface provides protection against inadvertent loosening of the screw connection.
The brush attachment described in connection with the collar-like ring mount of the bristles results in the most pleasing embodiment, but the screw attachment described can be carried out just as well with a simple bristle mount. Their use is by no means restricted to the manufacture of shaving brushes; rather, it can be used with any brush whose bristles are attached in a ring mount.
