Gehäuse für Standuhren.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Gehäuse für Standuhren, welches sowohl dem vollkommen staubdichten Abschluss des Uhrwerkes dient, als auch eine einfache gefällige Formgebung gestattet und nach aussen zu eine vollkommen glatte Oberfläche ohne Bohrungen, Stiften od. dgl. aufweist. Die bislang gebräuchlichen Stand-oder Weckeruhren waren Zylinderuhren, deren Armaturen (Aufziehschrauben, Stellschrauben, Zeigerrichtschrauben usw. ) durch Öffnungen der hinteren Gehäusewand nach aussen führten, durch welche Öffnungen, die niemals dicht herstellbar sind, Staub in das Werk gelangt. Erfindungsgemäss wird zweckmässig an Stelle des Zylinderwerkes ein Ankerwerk eingebaut, dessen Schraubenspindeln vertikal nach aufwärts führen und durch eine geeignete Deckelkonstruktion staubdicht und äusserlich unsichtbar eingeschlossen werden.
In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform der Erfindung dargestellt. In einem oben offenen Gehäuse 1 wird das Uhrwerk eingesetzt, dessen Armaturen 2 durch einen das Werk einschliessenden Deckel 3 in bekannter Art durchtreten. Um ein feines Scharnier 4 ist nun ein zweiter dichtender Deckel 5 drehbar, der in Schlussstellung das Werk staubdicht abschliesst und gleichzeitig die Uhr samt Armaturen vollständig kapselt. Zweckmässig wird hiebei die äussere Architektonik der Uhr so gewählt, dass die Fuge zwischen Deckel J und Gehäuse 1 nicht erkennbar ist, wodurch auch das Aussehen ein gefälligeres wird. Die äussere Form der Gehäuse ist hiebei eine beliebige.

An example embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing.
