Die bei elektrischen Hausinstallationen vielfach gebräuchlichen und verwendeten Schmelzsicherungen mit Leitungsansehluss von vorne haben den t'belstand, dass häufig dadurch Stromunterbrechungen entstehen, dass bei Erschütterungen der Sicherung sieh die Befestigungsschraube des Schmelz- sieherungsdeekels löst und die Kontaktstellen zwischen Sockelleiter und Schmelzdeekel unterbrochen werden.
Die vorliegende Erfindung hilft diesen Übelstanden dadurch ab. dass die Sockelleiter als Pufferfedern ausgebildet sind, die. in ihrer Wirkung durch Spiralfedern verstärkt. bei festgeschraubtem Schmelzdeckel zusammengedrückt (gespannt) werden. so dass Erschütterungen, die sich auf die Sicherung über- tragen, von den federnden Sockelleitern aufgenommen und abgedämpft werden.
