Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 EMI1.1

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 EMI2.1

   PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE : i.
 EMI2.3
 linearer Erstreckung befinden.

 EMI1.1

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 EMI2.1

 EMI2.2
 conductive surface to its full advantage. The bottom of the chamber formed by the piece of amber is convex towards the interior of the chamber, for example, as conical here, so that - whatever the position of the chamber - it is also impossible for him to shield parts of the interior of the chamber from radiation.

   As the closer examination shows, it is in such chamber-shaped radiation receivers when they are hit by X-rays or similar rays, especially the S-radiation generated when the examined radiation hits conductive parts of the interior of the chamber, which influences the measurement. The nature of this secondary SS radiation turns out to be very different depending on the chemical composition of the substance it emits.

   It is therefore particularly advantageous for medical use of the measuring device to use only substances of a similar chemical nature to the living tissue on the radiation receiver, for example the chamber capsule (a in Fig. 1, a Fig. 2) made of an animal substance of negligible - Able absorption capacity, for example made of buffalo horn and the ladder made of graphite, d. i. made of carbon, so for example to use a graphite pencil as conductor b in the embodiment according to FIGS. i, g in that according to FIG. The radiation receiver is then practically indistinguishable in all of its parts from the tissues of the living body, into whose cavities it is used, for example, for measurement.

   PATENT CLAIMS: i. Radiation receiver for devices for the measuring examination of X-ray or other ionizing radiation, in the form of a closed chamber, the wall of which consists of a substance with practically negligible secondary radiation, for example insulating substances, characterized in that there are only conductors of-
 EMI2.3
 linear extension.
