   Es ist bereits bekannt, den bei der Ingangsetzung von Verbrennungskraftmaschinen an kalten Tagen auftretenden   Übelstand   der schweren Entzündlichkeit des Gasgemisches dadurch auszuschalten, dass in den Vergaser für die Dauer der ersten Zündungen Azetylen-   gas eingeleitet wird, um ein besonders leicht entzündbares Gasgemisch zu erhalten. 



  Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein besonderer Generator zur leichteren Aus-   führung dieses Verfahrens, der eine solche Form erhält, dass er am Vergaser selbst   fessa   gelegt werden kann, so dass durch Übertragung der bei der Gasentwicklung freiwerdenden
Wärme gleichzeitig ein Vorwärmen des Vergasers erfolgt. 



   In der Zeichnung ist die Vorrichtung in beispielsweiser Ausführungsform in Fig. i im Vertikalschnitt und in Fig. 2 in Draufsicht bzw. Horizontalschnitt dargestellt. 



   Der Generator, dessen Mantelfläche 1 der Form des Vergasers angepasst ist, wird mittels einer Spange 2 o. dgl. an diesem festgelegt. Die Ableitung des im Generator zur
Entwicklung gelangenden Gases erfolgt durch einen absperrbaren Hahn 3, an welchen ein
Gummischlauch o. dgl. angeschlossen ist, der im Bedarfsfalle mit dem Innenraum des Vergasers in Verbindung gebracht wird. Ein mit Schrauben 4 festlegbarer Deckel 5 bildet den oberen Abschluss des Gefässes. 



   An Stelle des geschilderten Generators einfachster Art könnte auch ein Gasentwickler nach dem Tropfsystem o. dgl. angeordnet sein.
