Description
Device for carrying out the method for generating superheated steam, in particular for submersible boats The subject of the invention is a device for carrying out the method for generating superheated steam, in particular for submersible boats and similar purposes, according to patent 654612.
According to the process of the main patent, the combustion gases are mixed formed by hydrogen and oxygen with saturated steam superheated steam, on the one hand to give off heat to the water fed into the steam generator, i.e. thus for the generation of saturated steam, on the other hand for the work performance in one Steam engine is used. The invention provides for implementation this method is a particularly useful device in that it is proposed to arrange a pipe in the water space of the steam generator into which the through Mixing the combustion gases of hydrogen and oxygen with saturated steam formed highly superheated steam is passed to generate the saturated steam, before it flows on to work.
Devices have become known which are designed in a similar manner and have a coil or the like lying in the water to be evaporated, through which a steam-gas mixture flows to the point of consumption. However, these known devices cannot be compared with the subject matter of the invention because they do not want to carry out the combustion with oxygen but with air. This makes such devices useless for the submersible drive at all, because a complete precipitation of the combustion gases and thus the achievement of a satisfactory work performance at greater depths is impossible. Achieving a sufficient working pressure level of the steam is not possible in some of these known devices for the reason that the combustion air of the steam generated is only sucked in and not, as the oxygen according to the invention, is supplied under pressure. Equally unsuitable for carrying out the method of the main patent are devices in which the pipe coil through which the steam-gas mixture flows is half in the steam space and half in the water space of the boiler, so that the steam is alternately cooled and heated as it flows through this pipe coil. The resulting thermal stresses can not only make the building material of the pipe coil unusable in a very short time, but with such a device it will not be possible in any way to control the processes of the main patent. This is to be avoided according to the invention. The known devices has a, isoe Opposite the invention '# e advantage that no gases are used for Arb i performance that are not 1 4 Water niederschlagbar or soluble, the device according Because of the continuity of the heat dissipation through the pipe In addition, unfavorable thermal stresses are also completely avoided. It is only necessary to mix such an amount of saturated steam with the combustion gases that cracking processes are avoided with certainty and that the temperature of the steam produced is with certainty tolerated by the walls of the pipeline.
The invention is illustrated in the drawing, for example.
Saturated steam is taken from the vapor space of evaporator B and mixed with the combustion gases of oxygen and hydrogen or other fuels suitable for the purposes of the invention. This is done, for example, in that the saturated steam is sucked in by the jet pump-like effect of the inflowing fuel. For commissioning z. B. by -the shut-off device V, the steam line U is shut off and the auxiliary sdampfleitung 1 is opened.
The highly superheated steam flows through the pipesRj, R, R3 one after the other and in the process gives off a large part of the superheating2 heat to the water around the pipes in a known manner to generate saturated steam. Finally, the steam passes through the pipe d at the desired temperature, which can be about 30 to 500 ° C. To the e Wf, a large part of the heat of the steam is used to generate new saturated steam Steam that occurs in a moderately overheated state or the steam-gas mixture can then easily be used to drive a steam engine.
