Das den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildende Mittel besteht im Wesen aus circa 60, Unschlitt oder einem anderen Felt, 5% Trimethylamin, 15% Formaldehyd und 20"/0 irgend eines geeigneten Farbstoffes, welcher die Farbe des Mittels derart deckt, dass es zu den zu immunisierenden Möbelstücken passt. Dieses Mittel ist so dünn als möglich in alle Fugen im warmen Zustande einzutragen und insbesondere sind bei den Betten die Füllungen zu entfernen und deren Lager und Falze gut damit einzupinseln, bevor sie wieder zusammengesetzt werden. Die Brut und ein Theil des Ungeziefers wird dadurch vernichtet, während die aus ihren Schlupfwinkeln vertriebenen Insecten und dergleichen zweckmässig durch in dem, von dem Ungeziefer durchseuchten Locale zu haltende Spinnen oder andere das Ungeziefer vertilgende Lebewesen vernichtet werden.
