Electric drill with a motor arranged between the stand and the drill spindle.
The invention relates to an electric drill, which is illustrated in the drawing in a side view.
As usual, the drilling machine has a stand 1 and a spindle 2 which is provided at the top with a belt slide 3 for driving the drilling spindle. The spindle is moved by an electric motor 4 which is mounted in a known manner between the stator and the spindle and the two connecting parts 5 and 6 for them. From this motor, the shaft of which is vertical, the movement is continued through a pulley 7 on the motor shaft and a belt 12, which runs on both sides of the stator, to a pulley 8 on a shaft 9 which is mounted on the side of the stator facing away from the motor is. Another disk-M, which continues the movement to the disk on the spindle, is mounted on the same shaft 9.
This shaft 9 is mounted eccentrically in a part 10 which is mounted in an arm on top of the stand and which can be rotated with the aid of a handle 11. The belts 12 and 14 can be tightened or loosened here.
Due to the special arrangement of the motor in connection with the marked attachment of the countershaft, the use of high-speed electric motors is achieved in a simple manner, whereby the speed of the drilling spindle can be different at the same speed of the motor and can be reduced sufficiently for the purpose of drilling larger holes by means of multiple step changes .
