Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein Herdaufsatzofen mit Zusatzluftzuführung, dessen Luftzuführungsschlitz durch eine im Feueraum begrenzende Schamotteplatte und vom Fuchs gebildet wird. Das Neue an dem Ofen besteht darin, dass die Schamotteplatte an der LuftaustrittssteJ1e höher nach oben reiclit, als der dahinter liegende, nach einer gekrümmten oder gebrochenen Linie ansteigende Fuchs.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht den Erfindungsgegenstand in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform im lotrechten Längsschnitte.
In einem Herdaufsatzofen a bekannter Art mit Rauchabzugstutzen b sind am Fuchs c Haken d angeordnet, die dem Rost, f-als hinteres Auflager dienen, gleichzeitig aber auch eine Schamotteplatte g tragen, die durch die Hakenschäfte in einem bestimmten Abstande vom Fuchs c gehalten wird, so dass ein Schlitz entsteht, durch den die Zusatzluft im Sinne der eingezeichneten Pfeile hindurchströmt. Während'die Zusatzluft aus dem unter dem Rost befindlichen AschenfaJ1e durch'den Schlitz aufsteigt, erwärmt sie sich an der heissen Schamotteplatte g, so dass sie im vorgewärmten Zustand zu den aus dem Feuerungsraum in den Feuerzug übertretenden Rauchgasen gelangt.
Um einen Stoss der Zusatzluft auf die abstreichenden Gase zu vermeiden und durch diese ausserdem noch eine Saugwirkung zu erzielen, empfiehlt es sich, den oberen, nach dem Feuerraum zu abgerundeten Rand der Schamotteplatte g höher anzuordnen, als den wagrechten Teil des Fuchses-c. Aus demselben Grunde soll der Übergang des senkrechten Teiles des Fuchses in den wagrechten Teil nicht durch eine scharfe Kante gebildet, sondern abgerundet oder nach einer gebrochenen Linie abgeschrägt sein.

The novelty of the stove is that the firebrick panel at the air outlet point reaches higher up than the fox behind it, which rises in a curved or broken line.
The drawing illustrates the subject matter of the invention in an exemplary embodiment in vertical longitudinal section.
In a top-mounted oven a of known type with a smoke outlet b, hooks d are arranged on the fox c, which serve the grate, f-as a rear support, but at the same time also carry a fireclay plate g, which is held at a certain distance from the fox c by the hook shafts, so that a slot is created through which the additional air flows as indicated by the arrows. While the additional air rises from the ash trap located under the grate through the slot, it heats up on the hot fireclay plate so that, in the preheated state, it arrives at the flue gases passing from the furnace into the flue.
In order to avoid a collision of the additional air with the gases to be removed and also to achieve a suction effect, it is advisable to arrange the upper edge of the firebrick panel g, which is rounded towards the combustion chamber, higher than the horizontal part of the fox-c. For the same reason, the transition from the vertical part of the fox to the horizontal part should not be formed by a sharp edge, but should be rounded or bevelled according to a broken line.
