Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

Kondensatorenklemmen angeschlossenen statischen Voltmeter.

Arrangement for measuring the voltage in high-voltage networks.

To measure the voltage in high-voltage networks, measuring capacitors are usually used, on the one hand to separate the measuring instrument from the high voltage and thus to protect the operating personnel from the high voltage, and on the other hand to take into account the low energy requirement of the measuring capacitors or the occupancy of the
Capacitor terminals connected to static voltmeter. The static voltmeters could be attached to the low-voltage switchboard without any special precautionary measures. There is a high voltage on their supply lines
However, the amount of energy released by a short circuit only corresponds to the charge on the two capacitor assignments, so it is only very small. After all, one is reluctant to get lines with one
Lead voltage of maybe 2000 volts through the low voltage room.

The instruments therefore require cumbersome equipment to protect against these tensions, but they must also be shielded from the effects of earth fields. Furthermore, the capacitance effect of the environment must be taken into account in their calibration and finally they not only indicate when electrodynamic voltages are present, but also when static charges occur in the capacitors for whatever reason.

These disadvantages are avoided according to the invention if the assignments of the
Measuring capacitor or the capacitor terminals not, as has been the case up to now, with static
Instruments are connected, but rather with measuring instruments that are not based on electrostatic effects, ie electromagnetic or electrodynamic measuring instruments. These instruments can easily be designed for low currents.

When properly designed, their energy requirements deviate only slightly from that of the static instruments. On the other hand, they still have considerable advantages, complete insensitivity to the capacitive conditions in the environment. Static
Charges on the capacitors can easily be balanced by the line of the instrument, so that static charges are not displayed. In addition, the
Arrangement, especially if it is connected via a transducer, to the usual arrangements for high-voltage systems. Normal low-voltage cables can be used as the secondary conductor of the instrument transformer, e. B. Telephone wires with lead sheath or Kuhlo wires or the other metal-armored lines customary in switchgear, or else
Lines that are pulled into a Peschel pipe.

The instruments themselves will only be inferior
Voltage supplied, they can be single-pole easily earthed in the usual way.

An embodiment according to the invention is shown schematically in the drawing. a is a high-voltage line of an alternating current network, the other pole of which is grounded, b is a feed-through capacitor. The primary winding d of the measuring transducer e is connected to two assignments Ci, of the capacitor, the secondary winding of which feeds an instrument g through which line current flows. For the assignments Cl'C2, the connection of the measuring instrument or the measuring transducer does mean a significant reduction in voltage.

However, this can easily be accepted because on the one hand the amount of energy required for the measuring instrument is sufficient, on the other hand the
The safety of the system is not impaired by reducing the voltage between two assignments compared to the large number of assignments of the capacitor.
