  Kachelofen. 



   Bei der Verwendung von minderwertigem Brennstoff, beispielsweise Holz, zur Zimmerbeheizung ist einerseits Vorsorge zu treffen, dass die bei der Verbrennung frei werdende Wärme möglichst vollständig auf den zu beheizenden Raum übertragen wird und nur jener Teil in dem Schornstein abgeleitet wird, der zur Aufrechthaltung des Ofenzuges unbedingt erforderlich ist. Andrerseits muss Vorsorge getroffen werden, dass der angeheizte Ofen möglichst lange warm erhalten und nicht durch durchstreichende kalte Luft zu rasch abgekühlt wird. 



   Erfindungsgemäss ist in einem Kachelofen üblicher Bauart ein Einsatz aus Schamotte eingebaut, wodurch gegenüber den die Aussenwand des Ofens bildenden Kacheln ein mit Luft erfüllter, allseitig geschlossener Hohlraum geschaffen wird, der den Feuerraum und die Heizzüge umhüllt und als Wärmespeicher dient.

   When using inferior fuel, for example wood, for heating a room, precautions must be taken on the one hand to ensure that the heat released during combustion is transferred as completely as possible to the room to be heated and that only the part in the chimney that is used to keep the stove up and running is diverted is absolutely necessary. On the other hand, care must be taken to ensure that the heated stove is kept warm for as long as possible and that it is not cooled down too quickly by passing cold air through it.



   According to the invention, an insert made of fireclay is installed in a tiled stove of the usual type, creating an air-filled, all-round closed cavity opposite the tiles forming the outer wall of the stove, which surrounds the combustion chamber and the heating flues and serves as a heat store.

Claims

According to the illustrated embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, the tiled stove has an insert a made of fireclay or the like, which encloses a cavity c with the outer wall made of tiles. The cavity c envelops the furnace d and the heating flues e, f, g of known design. The combustion chamber d has the grate & and the heating door i.
