   Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet eine Sitzplatte für Stühle u. dgl., bei welcher die Art der Befestigung der Stuhlheine gegenüber der bisher üblichen, welche durch Einsetzen derselben in eine, gleichzeitig als Auflager für die Sitzplatte dienende Stuhlzargo, stattfindet, eine wesentlich andere ist, indem an Stelle der Zarge ein Holzkreuz tritt, welches gleichzeitig als Auflager für die Sitzplatte dient, während das gleiche Aussehen

   Ein   Ausführungsbeispiel   des   Ertindungsgegonstandes   ist in der Zeichnung zur Darstellung gebracht und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 eine Vorderansicht eines Stuhles mit teilweise geschnittener Sitzplatte, Fig. 2 eine Oberansicht desselben, Fig. 3 einen Schnitt durch die Sitzplatte, Fig. 4 einen Schnitt durch die Sitzplatte der   üblichen   Stühle. 



   Wie schon oben erwähnt, besteht das Wesen der Erfindung darin, dass die Sitzplatte a nicht wie bisher üblich und aus Fig. 4 der Zeichnung ersichtlich, in einen feston Rahmen b   eingefügt   oder auf einen solchen aufgelegt wird, sondern dass dieselbe mit dem umgelegten Hände durch Biegen, Pressen oder Giessen aus einem Stück hergestellt wird. wodurchd die Platte eine grosse Steifigkeit   erhält.   



   Ais Ersatz für die bei dieser Bauart in Wegfall kommende Stuhlzarge kann ein

   Naturgemäss   kann der umgelegte Rand c auf geeignete Weise mittelst Kerbung oder dergleichen verziert sein und die Sitzplatte a selbst den verschiedensten Anforderungen entsprechend geschweift, verziert und perforiert werden.
