Ziegelmauer.

Brick wall.
The aim of the invention is to use bricks of normal dimensions to produce stable, if possible heat-insulating) walls with good associations and with less material consumption than in the case of the known brick walls.
In the drawing, a brick wall built according to the invention is illustrated, namely in a side view in FIG. 1, in a vertical section in FIG. 2, in a horizontal section according to 1-2 of FIG. 2 in FIG. 3 and in a horizontal section according to FIG -1 of FIG. 2 in FIG. 4.
The invention consists in this. that the layers consist alternately of two bricks lying one behind the other with their length in the face of the wall and with their broad sides one behind the other and of three bricks with their lengths in the face of the wall or parallel to it on the narrow side, separated by any spaces between them.
If primarily the thermal insulation capacity of the wall should be increased, the spaces a are left empty. However, these spaces can be filled with mortar or concrete
EMI1.1
should have particularly great strength. and heat insulation is not that important.
