 EMI1.1

 EMI1.1

The subject matter of the present invention is formed by hollow clay bricks or hollow artificial stones (artificial stone blocks) of any size in the form of a binder or a runner, which are provided with grooves on the joint surfaces that intersect the hollow walls perpendicularly.

1 and 2 show a tie in a view (joint surface) and top view, FIGS. 3 and 4 show a runner, also in a view (joint surface) and top view, FIG. 5 shows a runner and two ties in perspective, FIG. 5 shows a layer a 11/2 stone wall in plan view.

In the wall bond (Fig. 6) the hollow spaces b form channels running parallel to the line of the wall, while the vertical walls cover each other and vertical channels c are produced by the channels c attached to the same.

These vertical channels are filled with mortar when the individual layers of the wall are poured, the butt joints being kept as narrow as possible so that the mortar cannot penetrate the channels running through them. To ensure this, each brick is dipped a little in mortar with its abutment surface and pressed against the already fixed adjacent brick, while the bearing surfaces are treated with mortar in the usual way.

A masonry built from the clay bricks or artificial stones already described is characterized by a much closer and stronger connection of the stones than it usually takes place, and is due to the mortar-filled channels c at the butt joints against the wind, respectively. completely sealed against the outside air.
