   Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren, durch das die Nutzwirkung des Dampfes in Kraftmaschine erhöht wird. Das Wesen des Verfahrens besteht darin, dass Dampf unter der Wirkung regelmässig wiederkehrender Explosionen irgend welcher geeigneten Stoffe teilweise kondensiert und die dadurch frei werdende gebundene Wärme des Dampfes auf ein luft-oder dampfförmiges Arbeitsmittel übertragen wird, das dann in der Kraftmaschine Arbeit mit erhöhter   Nntzwirkung   leistet. Als Arbeitsmittel kann irgend ein Gas, Luft oder Dampf unter Druck, z. B. Pressluft, benutzt werden.

   Nach der Erfindung wird also in den Arbeitsraum oder in die in diesen führende Rohrleitung zunächst gesättigter oder nahezu gesättigter Dampf und hierauf plötzlich Gas (Verbrennungsgas) von höherer Span- nung als der Dampf und unmittelbar nach dem Einlassen der Verbrennungsgase ein Gas oder Dampf unter Druck eingelassen, wodurch zuerst ein Teil des Dampfes infolge der
Druckerhöhung in der Maschine durch die plötzlich eintretenden Explosionsgase konden- siert und die hiedurch freiwerdende Wärme an das Gas unter Druck abgegeben wird, um die Leistung der Kraftmaschine zu erhöhen. 



   In der Zeichnung ist   -C   die Zuleitung für Dampf oder Gas, Luft, Pressluft oder dgl. in die Kraftmaschine oder einen Zwischenbehälter. Lässt man zuerst Dampf bei A einströmen und veranlasst man kurz danach eine Explosion in der Leitung B, die, solange die Klappe   K   offen steht, mit der Leitung   A-C   und dadurch mit der Maschine in Verbindung ist und lässt man gleichzeitig bei A das   luft-oder dampfförmige   Arbeitsmittel einströmen, so findet folgender Vorgang statt : Die zuerst eingetretene Dampfmenge wird durch die Explosion teilweise kondensiert. Das gleichzeitig nachströmende Arbeitsmittel nimmt die freigewordene gebundene Wärme des   Dampft's auf   und leistet in der Maschine Arbeit mit erhöhter Nutzwirkung.
