Electromagnetic control device for self-contained clocks.

The invention relates to an electrical control device for the self-employed. d. H. clocks with their own mechanical drive. The electromagnet of such a control device receives a current pulse from a normal clock in certain time segments, about every minute, and it is already known to hit the device in such a way that a current pulse only then acts on the magnet, i.e. a control process can only be brought about if the pointer position of the clock to be regulated does not match the pointer position of the normal clock. As long as the monitored watch is running correctly, the current pulses sent by the normal remain ineffective, in that the electromagnet of the control device is then not excited. This effect can e.g.

   B. can be achieved by a switching device that closes the circuit of the control magnet only outside certain pointer positions of the monitored clock.

The control itself can in and of itself be carried out in various ways, such as adjusting the pointer, changing the period of oscillation of the organ regulating the rate of the watch being monitored, e.g. B. by moving the pendulum weight etc.

The invention now consists in the combination of a pointer setting device actuated by the control magnet with a switching device which, in a known manner, only closes the circuit of the control magnet outside of certain pointer positions, the pointer setting device and the switching device cooperating in such a way that the switching device enters the control circuit Holds open pointer positions brought about by the pointer setting device. The advantage of this device is that the regulating magnet is switched off immediately after regulation has taken place and, at the same time, the clockwork is relieved of the regulating device.

On the axis s of the second hand of the clock, a control disk r ') is fixed. This disk is provided with a cutout a, which is delimited by outwardly diverging curves.
