Process for coloring and staining microscopic specimens.

So far, solutions that have to be produced in relatively large quantities have been used almost exclusively for staining and staining microscopic specimens and sections.

If they are not exposed to spoilage at all, the storage and especially the transport of the liquid reagents are not inconvenient.

The present invention now provides a handy form of paints and stains for treating microscopic specimens, sections and the like.

Experiments have shown that reagents suitable for staining and staining microscopic specimens and sections can be produced in a handy, easily movable form that is ready to use at any time for individual staining without loss of quantity, provided that suitable solid stoles, such as neutral paper, gelatine foil, textile material, wadding are used etc. implägnieit with properly compiled reagents. The invention consists in the fact that such ready-to-use paints or stains in easily subdivided form, as they are already used for other purposes, are used for staining and coloring microscopic objects. These solid colors can be z.

The strength of the color, calculated on the surface, can be measured in such a way that for a certain object, e.g. B. when placing and moistening a color sheet on a Bakteiien- smear, the most favorable degree of coloration is achieved, which enables safe work.

In addition to being easy to handle, the new dyeing and staining process also has the advantage of being economical, since only an amount corresponding to the size of the object is consumed.
