Diese Denitrierung erfolgte bisher teils durch Verdünnung der hochkonzentrierten Schwefelsäure mittels Wassers, teils durch Erhitzung derselben unter Einleitung von Gasen. Die erstere Methode führt zu verdünnter Säure, die für die meisten Ver-   wertungen erst wieder konzentriert werden   muss, die letztere Methode ist technologisch schwierig und kostspielig. 



   Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist das folgende neue Verfahren der   Denitrierung.   



  Die zu denitrierende Säure wird in der konzentrierten Form, in der sie abfällt, auf feste Stoffe einwirken gelassen, die mit Schwefelsäure exotherm reagieren. Hiebei wird, insbesondere als Folge der beim Zusammentreffen der konzentrierten Flüssigkeit mit der festem Reaktionskomponente auftretenden, zunächst an den Ort ihrer Entwicklung lokalisierten Wärme, die
