Kreiselrad.

Impeller.
The subject matter of the invention is a centrifugal wheel suitable for fans and pumps with conical blades, the conical axes of which are radial and in which the radius of curvature of the conical surfaces increases according to the circumference of the wheel. The pure cone shape is favorable to the strength requirements. The blades of this shape can also be produced by simply bending the flat sheet metal. Crowning and flanging of the blade plate, which would make production more expensive, are therefore not required. The blade ends are attached to a U-shaped ring on the inlet soap, which prevents the ends from bending out at high speeds.
The drawing illustrates a rotary wheel according to the invention, for example in one embodiment. Fig. 1 shows three sections of a blade, namely at b, c, d in Fig. 2, seen in the direction of the cone axis. The speed parallelograms shown show that the constant axial speed and the changeable tangential speed each combine to form a total force that is in this way

directions i of FIG. 2 is met.
According to FIGS. 2 and 3, which show the impeller in axial sections and in a side view, the blades a are attached to the U-shaped stiffening ring / and to the hub disk e by angles or bent lugs. The wheel is sealed against the housing on the one hand by the two legs of the U-shaped ring f opposite the ring 9 and on the other hand on the ring h.
