Horizontalachsige Dampfturbinenanlage.

Horizontal axis steam turbine plant.
The invention relates to a horizontal-axis steam turbine system in which a steam turbine and an upper surface condenser are assembled in such a way that the steam from the last impeller of the turbine reaches the condenser space directly. According to the invention, the turbine is arranged overhung on the condenser housing 86 provided with feet.
Horizontal-axis steam turbine systems are already known in which a steam turbine and a surface condenser are built directly next to one another for the purpose of the simplest possible construction and to avoid a pressure drop as much as possible, so that the steam reaches the condenser chamber after leaving the last impeller without flowing through an interposed pipe got to. In these previously known systems, however, both the turbine and the housing are surface. capacitor equipped with feet by means of which they are supported on the foundation. This arrangement has the disadvantage that a common base plate is required for precise alignment of the turbine and condenser, which must be presented from the condenser to under the turbine.
This requires a relatively large and therefore expensive foundation and a heavy base plate. In addition, this arrangement has the major disadvantage that when the doorway housing is put into operation, its central axis rises more than that of the condenser due to greater heating, which can result in a choppy gait and even a strip of circumferential contact with the stationary parts. These disadvantages are avoided by the subject matter of the present invention.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely in Fig. @ A side view partially in vertical section, Fig. 2 is a front view of a steam turbine system constructed according to the invention with an attached dynamo.
1 is the housing of the surface capacitor. 2 and 3 are lids for its water chambers. The cooling water flows to the same through the pipe 4 and it leaves them through the pipe 5. Because the condenser is divided in the horizontal plane. the lower and upper halves are connected by overflow tubes 6 and 7. On the housing 1 feet 8 and 9 are attached, with which the capacitor rests on the foundation. The generator shaft 10 rests in the bearing blocks 12 and 13 and is rigidly coupled to the turbine shaft 15 at 14. The steam turbine 16 is designed in several stages. Its housing together with the built-in guide device 17 and the pre-built control device 18 is screwed onto the front housing shield of the surface capacitor. It doesn't have one
