Bei den bekannten Bügeleisen wird die Belastungsplatte entweder auf den Heizkörper gelegt oder sie wird mit dem Deckel in einem Stück gegossen oder gepresst. Im ersten Falle entnimmt diese Platte dem Heizkörper Wärme, im zweiten Falle ist die Herstellung des Deckels teuer. Mit nachstehender Erfindung sollen beide Nachteile vermieden werden.
Gemäss der Erfindung wird die Belastungsplatte unten am Deckel angeschraubt ; der Deckel ist so angeordnet, dass zwischen Platte und Heizkörper ein Hohlraum freibleibt.
Fig. 1 stellt einen Längsschnitt durch ein solches Bügeleisen dar und zeigt die Belastungsplatte a, die mittels Schrauben b und Muttern c am Deckel cl unten angeschraubt ist und zwischen Heizkörper e und Platte a einen Hohlraum freilässt. Der Heizkörper e ist mit einer Kappe f, an der Füsse oder Leisten g angebracht sind, versehen, die auf der Isoliermasse h aufstehen und den Heizkörper e an den Unterteil i anpressen. Zwischen der Kappe f und dem Heizkörper e bleibt ein Hohlraum m, damit die Wärme nicht so schnell entweichen kann. Die Schrauben b haben genau die Länge, dass sie beim Anschrauben des Oberteiles an den Unterteil i mittels Schraube & auf der Kappe f aufstehen, und durch den Druck dem Heizkörper einen festen Halt geben.
Fig. 2 stellt das Bügeleisen in Seitenansicht dar.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Elektrisches Bügeleisen nach Patent Nr. 103642, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Belastungplatte (a) am Deckel (d) angeschraubt ist und zwischen Platte (a) und Heizkörper (e) ein Hohlraum freibleibt.

In the first case this plate draws heat from the radiator, in the second case the production of the cover is expensive. The following invention is intended to avoid both disadvantages.
According to the invention, the loading plate is screwed to the bottom of the cover; the cover is arranged in such a way that a cavity remains free between the plate and the radiator.
Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through such an iron and shows the loading plate a, which is screwed by means of screws b and nuts c on the cover cl at the bottom and leaves a cavity between the heater e and plate a. The heating element e is provided with a cap f, to which feet or strips g are attached, which stand on the insulating compound h and press the heating element e against the lower part i. A cavity m remains between the cap f and the heating element e so that the heat cannot escape so quickly. The screws b are exactly the length that they stand up on the cap f when the upper part is screwed onto the lower part i using screw &, and the pressure gives the radiator a firm hold.
