Die Vorderkufen 2 bzw.   dere : n QuerstÜck 4   sind durch Streben 14 mit einem am Schlittengestell   1   über   Pollen 16   laufenden Drahtseil   17   verbunden, dessen Enden auf eine an der Achse des Lenkrades 15 angebrachte Spule 18 aufgewickelt sind, und zwar derart, dass je nach der Drehung des Lenkrades das eine Seiltrumm auf die Spule aufgewickelt wird, während das andere sich gleichzeitig davon abwickelt und umgekehrt. 



   Um ein seitliches Gleiten der Vorderkufen hintanzuhalten, sind Beschläge 19 aus Eisenoder Stahlplatten von U-förmigem Profil sattelförmig auf die Kufen aufgelegt. Die   Seitenränder   dieser Beschläge ragen über die Laufflächen der Kufenschienen nach unten vor, so dass sie nach der Seite hin einen erheblichen Widerstand gegen das Gleiten bieten, während sie einer Fortbewegung in der Längsrichtung der Laufschienen nicht hinderlich sind.
