  Verfahren und Anlage zur Herstellung von Entfärbungskohle. 



   Bei bekannten Verfahren zur   Herstellung   von Entfärbungskohle wird Holzkohle in rotgluhendem Zustande der Einwirkung von überhitztem Wasserdampf ausgesetzt. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vervollkommnung dieses Verfahrens und erlaubt, unter Ersparnis an Brennstoff, ein hochwirksames Erzeugnis zu erhalten, das sich zur   Entfärbung und Geruchlosmachung   von Flüssigkeiten sowie für elektrotechnische Zwecke eignet. 



   Erfindungsgemäss werden die beim Durchleiten von überhitztem Wasserdampf durch die   glühende   Holzkohle entstehenden brennbaren Gase in der zur Beheizung der Retorten dienenden Feuerung mit einem entsprechenden   Luftzuschuss   verbrannt, so dass, nachdem eine gewisse Temperatur erreicht ist, die weitere Zufuhr von Brennstoff vollständig unterbleiben kann. Ist die Kohle in den Retorten   garkebraiint,   so wird ein Teil des Retorteninhaltes in untergestellte Gefässe entleert und durch Kanäle der Ofenanlage in den hinteren Feuerungsraum geschafft, wo die Kohle unter Ausschluss von Luft noch eine Zeitlang hoher Temperatur ausgesetzt wird,   um   die gewünschten Eigenschaften in dem höchsten Grade anzunehmen.

   Für die entnommene Kohle wird in die Retorte frische nachgefüllt, so dass ein ununterbrochener Betrieb der Anlage stattfindet. 



   Zur   Durchführung   des Verfahrensdient eine Anlage, die im wesentlichen aus einer Feuerung mit Aschenfall, einem Räume, in welchem die stehenden Retorten eingemauert sind und einer Abteilung für den   Dampfüherhitzer hstpht, wobei   die   Feuprgasc zuerst die Retorten bestreichen,
