EMI1.3
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Slcherhettvorrlohtung for conveyors or the like.
The invention relates to safety devices for hoisting machines and the like, in which the rope strands of the two hoisting cages can be adjusted relative to one another, as is the case with concealable drums or reels. With these, the familiar start-up and deceleration curves are coupled partly to the fixed and partly to the loose drum by a positive gear. In the known arrangements for the two terminal stops, for. B. a deceleration curve and an approach curve each, i.e. four curves, are used for hanging bank and filling location, whereby curves that belong together influence both baskets.
The safety device created by the start-up and deceleration curves is then effective, for example, when operating between the hanging bench and the filling location and, if the drums are appropriately hidden from one another, also between the hanging bench and any midsole.
This known arrangement will be explained with reference to FIG.
With 1 the loose, with 2 the fixed drum is referred to, with each of which the coupling halves 3 and 4 are firmly connected. The loose drum 1 is held by the brake while it is hidden. The drive 6, 7 is connected to the drum 1 and the drive 8, 9 of the safety device is connected to the fixed drum 2. In reality, the ratio from 6 to 7 or 8 to 9 will not be 1: 1, as shown in the figure, but a slow ratio must be switched on.
29 is the rope run for the loose drum 1, and 30 the associated basket, which is drawn in the position on the hanging bench, 31 is the rope run for the fixed drum 2 with the basket 32, which is at the filling point. 33 and 34 are the pulleys. With 35, 36, 37 and 38 hanging bench, two midsoles and filling point are designated.
The cam disks 10, 11, 12, 13 each have a curve, namely the curves 17
EMI1.1
Hanging bench 35 has arrived.
In the arrangement shown in FIG. 1, a conveying operation between hanging bank 3J and filling location 38 is possible. If a conveyor operation is to take place, for example, between the hanging bench 35 and the midsole 37, the drums 1 and 2 must be hidden from one another. The loose drum 7 is held in place by means of the brake 5 (curves I; and 17 remain above the roller levers 22 and 23), the clutch 3, 4 is released and the basket 32 is then brought to the sole 37 by means of the fixed drum 2 .
The cams 12, 13 also rotate by means of the drive 8, 9 and their curves 18 and 20 approach the roller hehehi 24 and 2.5 by the amount corresponding to the distance between the two soles 38 and J /. The clutch 3, 4 is then engaged again.
If you now drive from 37 to 35, then curves 18 and 20 move accordingly
EMI1.2
Now when the task is set. To set up the conveying operation between filling point 38 and an intermediate floor, a complicated change to the four curves is necessary. In FIG. 2, the basis for this operational possibility, namely the borderline case, is shown in which the operation between the filling location as the main terminal stop and the hanging bank is possible. The curves of the four cams must first be converted into the position of the curves 14, 16, 19, 21 shown. In this position the curves 14 and 16 are below the roller levers 22 and 23
EMI1.3
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
If you now drive from 36 to 38, the curves 19 and 21 are just above the roller levers, whereas the curves 14 and 16 are removed from their roller levers by the distance corresponding to the distance between 36 and 38.
With the arrangements known up to now, as can be seen from the above, it was not possible to let the safety device created by the curves for a certain operational possibility work without changing the curves, both when conveying between the suspended bench and the midsole and when conveying between the filling point and the intermediate level.
According to the determination, this possibility should also be created. This is achieved

and are provided separately from each other, such. B. the release and the fall time control for the emergency brake.

hmieb set up between the filling point and sole 36. For this purpose, according to FIG. 4, the basket 30 of the drum 1 is brought to the filling location, the drum 1 is braked, the clutch 3, 4 released, the cooker 32 is brought to the sole 36 and the clutch is engaged again. The four cams assumed the position shown in FIG. 4 when the conveyor baskets were moved and the drum was hidden.
EMI2.3
ellen of the free shaft space above and below each basket does no harm.
Driving beyond the end positions, hanging bank and filling point, is still not possible because the curves first stop the hoisting machine when the cage moves into the end position. When using movable corner pieces in addition to the fixed or similarly acting devices, starting and decelerating can be prescribed according to certain laws when conveying between two soles.
The structural arrangement of the safety device is not essential to the invention
EMI2.4
The device can be used both for electrical and for any other type of drive for the lifting machine.
