Sohmler6lpumpe.

Sohmler oil pump.
In the pneumatic motors according to the Austrian patent no. 74506, the oscillating pistons tension a helical spring at the entrance, which is pushed onto a curved guide pin attached to the stationary cylinder and which rests on the one hand on the piston and on the other hand on an end and the guide pin and the process of the Piston causes.
The invention consists in that the end collar of the curved guide pin serving as an abutment for the helical spring forms the piston of a lubricating oil pump, the correspondingly curved cylinder of which is guided on the guide pin so as to be displaceable against the action of the spring enclosed by it.
In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows the compressed air motor provided with the control in cross section and FIG. 2 shows the part of the motor relating to the lubricating oil pump on an enlarged scale.
The oscillating piston 2, moving out of the stationary cylinder 1 by the pressure medium, tensions two helical springs 3, each of which is attached to a curved guide pin 4. The latter have an end collar 5, which springs the screws 3, which are supported against the piston 2, serves as an abutment.
The end collar 5 forms the piston of a lubricating oil pump, the curved cylinder 7 of which is carried by the oscillating piston 2. In the end collar 5, two longitudinal bores S are provided, in which a suction valve 6 and a pressure valve 10 are installed.
The guide bolt 4 has two through longitudinal bores J.!,. M, the one. on the one hand in the bores 8 and 9 and on the other hand in an oil inflow channel 13 or in a

Branch off the oil supply pipes leading to the individual bearings.
The mode of operation of the lubricating oil pump is as follows: When the oscillating engine piston 2 enters, the two lubricating oil pump cylinders 7 are moved along with it, whereby a suction effect occurs in the cylinder space 15 adjoining the free side of the end collar 5, so that lubricating oil is discharged from the oil container through the oil inlet channel 13, the Longitudinal bore 12 and is sucked through the suction valve 6 into the cylinder space 15.
When the oscillating piston 2 retreats, the lubricating oil in the cylinder space 15 is pressed through the pressure valve 10 and the longitudinal bore 11 into the oil extraction channel 14 or through the oil supply pipes into the individual bearings to be oiled.
PATENT. EXPECTATIONS :
1. Lubricating oil pump for a compressed air motor with oscillating pistons, characterized in that the end collar (5) of the curved guide pin (4) serving as an abutment for the piston return spring (3) forms the piston of a lubricating oil pump (leren correspondingly curved cylinder (7) against the Effect of the spring (3) enclosed by it, is slidably guided on the guide pin (4).
