  Dichtung für Schellenverbindungen an Rohren. 



   Die Abdichtung von Schellenverbindungen, die den Einbau irgend welcher Vorrichtungen in   Rohranlagen   ohne Verschiebung und ohne Stopfbüchse ermöglichen, erfolgte bisher zumeist in der Weise, dass über die Stossfuge der Rohre ein mit Talg oder dgl. imprägniertes Band sorgfältig in vielen Lagen umgelegt und hierauf über dem Band die entsprechend ausgesparte und an ihren Enden über Rippen der Rohrenden greifende Schelle angebracht wurde. Diese Abdichtung erfordert eine ausserordentlich sorgfältige Arbeit bei Anbringung des Dichtungsbandes, weil bei nicht ganz genauer Deckung der einzelnen Bandlagen die Ränder der Banddichtung beschädigt und damit die Abdichtung an diesen   Ste1len geschwächt, sowie   eine nochmalige Verwendung des Bandes in Frage gestellt wird. 



   Durch die Erfindung werden diese Nachteile beseitigt. Zu diesem Zwecke erfolgt die   Dichtung gemäss   der Erfindung durch einen Gummiring mit umgelegtem Metallband. 



   In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel verauschaulicht. Fig. 1 zeigt die Dichtung bei nicht angezogener und Fig. 2 bei fest angezogener Schelle im Schnitt nach

   Die in einer Rohranlage befindliche Fuge a wird gemäss der Erfindung durch einen Gummiring   b abgedichtet, um   den ein   metal ana   c gelegt ist. Dieses Metallband c übergreift sich mit seinen Enden bei   nicht angezogener Scbelle   in der insbesondere aus Fig. 4 ersichtlichen Weise.    The sealing of clamp connections, which allow the installation of any devices in pipe systems without displacement and without a stuffing box, has so far mostly been done in such a way that a tape impregnated with tallow or the like is carefully folded in many layers over the butt joint of the pipes and then over the Band that was cut out and attached at its ends over the ribs of the pipe ends. This sealing requires extremely careful work when attaching the sealing tape, because if the individual tape layers are not exactly covered, the edges of the tape seal are damaged and the seal at these points is weakened, and repeated use of the tape is called into question.



   These disadvantages are eliminated by the invention. For this purpose, the seal according to the invention is made by a rubber ring with a folded metal band.
