Anzeigevorrichtung.

Display device.
The invention relates to those known display devices in which two rollers with a band carrying the displays are driven by an engine with an electromagnetic escapement.
The drawing illustrates the invention in FIG. 1 in view and in FIG. 2 in cross section.
A brake disk b and a toothed wheel c are seated on a fixed shaft a and are set in rotation by a spring F attached to a fixed point. By using a solenoid So, the core of which is provided with a brake pad K and acts on the brake disk b, it is possible to release the spring F or to cancel its effect, depending on whether or not the current is flowing through the solenoid.
When the circuit is closed in So, equivalent to the release of the brake disk 6, it is possible to set the fixed shaft W, which can be moved sideways and on which the gear wheel d and the gear wheel e are seated, in rotation. If two gearwheels f and g are brought into engagement with the gearwheel e, they will rotate in the opposite direction to e, therefore the rollers W1 and W2 drive in a certain direction and thereby move the display tape. The gear D serves to rotate in the opposite direction. If you now move shaft W and shaft 23, on which there is a gear wheel li, at the same time to the right by means of a lever or segment 8, the gear wheels 2 and k come into operation, while the Tooth-

opposite direction.
If you move shaft 'and lt' with the help of segment S all the way to the left, so that none of the wheels is in mesh, then spring F can be opened without actuating shafts 1F and W2.
