   Der Regelbereich des Induktionsgenerators kann selbstverständlich auch durch Polumschaltung erweitert werden. 



   Der Vorteil aller dieser Anordnungen gegenüber einer gewöhnlichen WechselstromKollektormaschine zur Erzeugung veränderlicher Frequenz liegt darin   begründet,   dass man durch Kaskadierung der Kollektormaschine die Grösse des Kollektors selbst, der zum rein elektrischen Regeln ja unbedingt notwendig ist, ganz erheblich vermindern kann. Man erhöht dadurch die Betriebssicherheit der Anlage und gelangt bei grossen Leistungen durch dieses Hilfsmittel überhaupt erst in den Bereich der Ausführungsmöglichkeit. Daneben gewinnt man noch die Annehmlichkeit, dass die zu regelnden Ströme bei all diesen Kaskadenanordnungen sehr klein sind und daher einfachere und leichter von Hand zu bedienende Regelapparate erfordern, als wenn man diese in den Hauptstrom des Generators einschalten müsste. 



   PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Einrichtung zum Erzeugen von nutzbaren   ein-oder mehrphasigen Wechselströmen   von   veränderlicher   Periodenzahl, bei welcher dem primären Teil eines mit konstanter Drehzahl angetriebenen kollektorlosen   Schleifring-Induktionsgenerators   Erregerstrom von   verändarlicher   Frequenz in Kaskadenschaltung zugeführt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kaskadenmaschinen vermittelst Wechselstromkollektoren ohne Zuhilfenahme mechanischer Reguliergetriebe rein elektrisch geregelt werden.
