The present invention relates to the novel use of perforated metal sheets for fixation and extension bandages for bone fractures. The use of this matoriato is done in such a way that the pieces required for the manufacture of the shell are cut from plates of normal size, possibly in tape or strip form, and applied to the place to be covered with the bandage in such a way that the sheet metal edge to be covered by wire stitching The present dressing differs from the mech liner covers that have already been used in the form of grooves in that it is shaped according to the requirements that arise from case to case,

where the perforations facilitate the shaping and the application of connecting wires and other ligatures immensely.

As a result of its easy and complete adaptability to any fracture site, the present dressing is perfectly suited to the rigid hand made from plaster of paris or plaster bandages. replace, but offers a number of significant advantages over the latter, among which in particular the rapid. Possible adjustment of the bandage without aids and the possibility of easy removal and re-application are important.

The liquids made with this dressing material are also to be used as an extension dressing, since the perforations allow the insertion of traction organs without any further restrictions.

As the shell without suffering damage. can be easily removed and put back on, secretion removal is greatly facilitated; the deduction of the same can
