Tiled stove that can be heated with gas and solid fuels.
The invention consists in a tiled stove in which a separate gas and coal heater are combined.
The gas stove is designed in such a way that most of the heat contained in the burned gas, around 60%, is converted into radiant heat and sent directly into the room by radiation, while the smaller part is released into the room air through the liachelheizflächen. For this purpose, the device is designed in such a way that a gas stove insert is attached to the lower part of the stove, which is too exposed after the room, so that the heat rays can enter the room while the combustion gases pull through the stove and give it their heat. The stove can also be heated by solid fuels.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the invention. Fig. 1 shows the furnace in front view and Fig. 2 in top view. Fig. 3 gives a longitudinal section, Fig. 4 shows a cross section through the upper part, Fig. 5 shows a vertical cross section through the front part of the furnace and Fig. 6 shows a cross section through the lower part.
The furnace 1 is provided with trains 3 in the usual manner for coal firing, the door of which is indicated at 2. For the purpose of gas heating, the furnace is equipped with a porch 4, in the lower part of which a gas heater of any type 5 is housed. A channel 6 is provided in the front structure 4 for the extraction of the combustion gases, and an attachment 7 is attached at the front.
If the gas heater is put into operation, the heating effect, since more than half of the radiant heat of the gas is used, starts immediately after the gas flame is lit, and almost to the full extent of its efficiency - an advantage that is only known is peculiar to the radiant furnace. But because the hot combustion gases penetrate the Kana! 6, the tiles are warmed up and can still give off warmth to the room for a long time after the gas heating has been switched off. The gas heating does not in any way prevent the furnace from being loaded with solid fuels of any kind.
The stove is used especially in the transition periods, in spring and autumn, and in cases where heat is needed quickly or for a short time. do good service. In this case, only the gas heating would have to be put into operation, while the part of the stove heated with coal is used for permanent heating in the colder months of the year.
