  Aufblasbares, einstellbares Pessar.

Fig. 2 zeigt das Pessar in gebrauchsfertigem Zustande.

  Inflatable, adjustable pessary.

The subject of the present invention is an inflatable pessary which can be adjusted to different sizes and which is mainly used as a support in the event of a vaginal or uterine prolapse and is characterized by the fact that the non-return valve, which has a special device and enables the pressure of the air enclosed in the inflatable ring to be regulated sunk inside the ring and covered by the partially double-walled ring in such a way that the latter presents a completely smooth outer surface and the mucous membranes remain apart from any contact with metallic parts.

The drawing illustrates in FIG. 1 such a pessary, partially in section with the outer ring jacket turned inside out and the non-return valve provided for inflating the pessary or for letting in air pulled out. Fig. 2 shows the pessary in a ready-to-use condition.
 EMI1.1
The valve is completely sunk into this and covered by the jacket - the valve is easily accessible, the jacket b along the inside
 EMI1.2
supported by the effect of the pressure prevailing in the pessary, against which the perforated partition that forms the seat rests.

The disc sits on a threaded spindle M, which serves as a guide piece on the one hand, and through the perforation of the septum on the other
 EMI1.3
With practiced finger pressure, the valve can be opened and the corresponding amount of air can escape.
