    Pferdegeschlrr.

    Horse rider

The present invention relates to a horse harness, and consists in the fact that its straps are made from preferably three layers of corrugated iron steel strips riveted together with soft intermediate layers and a canvas or leather cover.

In the drawing, a horse harness consisting of the new belts is shown in Fig. 1 in a perspective image, and in Fig. 2 a belt is shown in longitudinal section.

The straps of the horse harness are formed from preferably three layers of corrugated sheet steel strips et, b, c. The middle one (a) is stronger than the two cover strips and has higher waves. A hemp belt C1 or the like is placed between every two strips as an insulating layer and all parts are riveted together at some points. The whole thing comes in a canvas or leather cover and is padded in the usual way at the places that come into contact with the horse's body.

In this way, the chest strap A, which carries the ring f for the chest chain, the neck strap B and the upper part C of the harness (Fig. 1) are formed.

According to the inventor, the horse harness produced in this way should surpass a harness made of leather not only in terms of strength and durability, but also in terms of elasticity, so that the harnessed horses feel less of the changing impacts of the vehicle and therefore suffer less, than in used, therefore drawn out and no longer elastic leather harnesses.
