   Das den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildende Strumpfband ist in der Zeichnung in den Fig. i bis 3 in verschiedenen Ansichten dargestellt. Dasselbe besteht aus dem unelastischen Band a aus Leder oder anderem Material, an dessen einem Ende eine Zugfeder b befestigt ist, die mit dem anderen Ende des Lederbandes a lösbar vermittelst einer   Schliessvorrichtung,   z. B. 



  Öse oder Knopf o. dgl. verbunden werden kann, wie es Fig. 3 zeigt. Auf der Innenseite des Lederbandes a sind in beliebigen Abständen die Polster c befestigt, welche in Scheiben-oder anderer Form aus einem weichen Material, insbesondere aus Filz. geschnitten sind. Ein derartiges Strumpfband drückt den Fuss nicht am vollen Umfange, sondern bloss an jenen Stellen, wo sich die Filzpolster c befinden, so dass der Blutumlauf nicht gehindert wird. Die Filzpolster bewirken ein festes Halten des Strumpfbandes, welches   selbstwrständlich auch   für andere Zwecke verwendet werden kann.
