Electric roller brush drive with indirect compounding of the working motor and counter-compounding of the starting dynamo.

The parent patent describes an electric roller brush drive in which the work motor is compounded by an auxiliary machine excited by the main current. The same auxiliary machine can also be used for the indirect counter-compounding of the tempering machine. In both cases, the main excitation of the working motor and the starting machine is carried out by a common exciter.

According to the invention, instead of a common main exciter and a compounding dynamo, which feeds the field windings of the main machines, separate exciter machines are provided for the working motor and the starting dynamo. These separate excitation machines are additionally excited in the same direction or in opposite directions by the compounding dynamo excited by the main current. This has the advantage that the main machines only need to be provided with a single field winding.

The separate excitation machines are also correspondingly smaller than the earlier common excitation machine. The compounding dynamo is now also smaller than it used to be, as it only has to feed additional windings in the exciter. The currents that are controlled by the switching devices are again significantly reduced, so that the operational safety of the system is increased.

  The drawing shows an embodiment.

It denotes A the starting machine, B the working motor, C a three-phase motor to drive the exciter machines, D the exciter machine of the motor B, E the exciter machine of the dynamo A, F the compounding dynamo for the exciter machines D and E, H the exciter dynamo of the exciter machines E and D. , J the control switch that is used to regulate and reverse the field windings of the machines and D. The exciter D exciting the working motor B has two windings a and b. a denotes the normal main field, which is regulated by the control switch J, b the compound winding, which is also regulated by the control switch J and reversed if necessary.

The exciter E of the charging dynamo A has three windings in the illustrated case, namely winding c for the main field, which is regulated by means of the control switch J and vice versa. the counter compound winding d, which flows through the self-current and which is used in a known manner (cf. Austrian patent specification or. 33298) for faster excitation, and dif counter compound winding e, which is produced by the compounding
