Hydraulische Ziehpresse.

Hydraulic drawing press.
The subject of the present invention is a hydraulic drawing press in which two pistons which are accommodated in separate pressure chambers and connected to one another are present, one of which pistons, as usual, as a brake piston for the drawing stem! ko! ben serves so that it does not lead the blank holder piston under the action of a third piston. - The peculiarity of the present device consists in the fact that the opposing piston has a larger effective cross-section than the drawing piston and, as a result, the water pressure in the cylinder space of the drawing

In the drawing, the drawing press is shown by Fig. 1 in vertical section. a and b are the two separate pressure spaces. In the pressure chamber a are the two nested pistons e, d, of which the piston c carries the sheet metal holder e and the piston d carries the drawing punch f. The opposing piston g is guided in the pressure chamber and is inevitably connected to the drawing punch piston d by the rod h and serves as a brake piston for the same. The pressure spaces a, b are with

pressed towards the pressure space a, since the load on the valve r is so great that it can withstand this pressure.

If the piston c has pressed the sheet metal holder together with the sheet metal y placed against the die t, valve lut is closed and the connection between the two pressure chambers a and b is thereby canceled. Y,

The strongly compressed water still in pressure chamber b lifts valve r and passes through line q to collecting container m.
However, in order to avoid the counter pressure of the piston V during the drawing process, the brake valve r can also be raised when the drawing punch piston is all high

the collection container.
When the drawing process is complete and the three pistons have reached their highest position, the valve k is opened again, whereby the pressure fluid again acts on the opposing piston g and this together with the drawing punch piston d, since it is slightly larger than the Piston d pulls down until the drawing punch f is seated.
If the position of the double valve i is changed in such a way that it shuts off the flow of pressurized water to space a, and allows the water contained in space a to flow out through pipe n to the collecting container m indess, the opposing piston 9 pulls both pistons c under the action of the pressurized water , d, close down to their low-pitch position.
This ends the whole process and you can reverse the
Valve i let the drawing process start again. When the valve is in the middle position, the press does not come into action, since the pressurized water then comes out of the
Pipes l can flow directly into the collecting container through pipe n.
