<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>

The invention relates to a heater, in particular an underfloor heating insulation system, in particular for dry interior construction, with at least one insulation board, a heat-emitting layer at least essentially covering the surface of the insulation board and with heating pipes lying in recesses in the insulation board.
Known systems of this type consist of insulating boards with which the floor, usually an old or new screed, is at least essentially laid out. These plates have grooves on their top that serve to accommodate the heating pipes. The surface of the heating pipes inserted in the grooves would be too small to achieve sufficient heat transfer, which is why the top of the insulation panels are covered with a sheet that is bent so that it adapts to the surface including the groove.
Because the original groove cut into the insulation board is straight
Has side walls, but the shape of the sheet has the corresponding grooves in an undercut shape, on the one hand, due to the much greater rigidity of the sheet, the insulation board is deformed, particularly in the area of the
Side walls near the base of the groove and thus to fix the sheet to the insulation board, on the other hand the heating pipes are clamped when pressed into the grooves by elastic deformation of the sheet, so that this is to be regarded as an actually load-bearing or fixing element.
This system, as simple and universal as it looks at first glance, has several disadvantages: it is necessary to adapt the insulation panels and therefore the sheets to the respective floor plan of the room, which makes it necessary in the peripheral area of each room is to lay cut blocks. It is therefore also necessary to cut the strong and correspondingly resistant sheet metal to size on site or, as is usually the case in the prior art, to cut through at the corresponding weakening points. In the former alternative, a lot of work is involved, in the latter alternative, cutting is only possible in stages, with all the disadvantages resulting from it.
In addition, the attachment of the weakening points, which must be provided for every sheet, even if they are
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
are only required for a small number of sheets, an additional work step in the production of all sheets and, accordingly, cost-intensive.
The so-called baffle plates represent a further problem, since the heating pipes are mostly laid in serpentine lines, so that in the area of two opposite ones
Ends, usually in the wall area, have to be provided with semicircular connecting pieces, which of course require their own foam sheets. Here, too, there are two variants in the prior art, either deflection plates with a fixed predetermined one
Diameter of the semicircle, thus a single pipe spacing, which makes it necessary to use separate baffles for different pipe spacings, with all disadvantages in production and storage. The other possibility is to provide at least two corresponding recesses on a deflection plate, which can optionally be occupied on the spot.
What is common to all deflection plates, however, is that the manufacture and use of appropriately designed sheet metal plates must be avoided for reasons of production and / or cost, so that the deflection areas must be disregarded on the one hand when calculating the heating output, and on the other hand these areas of the floor can hardly be warmed, which in many cases for the
Comfort of the heating is detrimental.
The purpose of the invention is to remedy this and to provide a system which avoids these disadvantages, which is therefore easy to install and, in particular, also in the edge areas and in the case of the deflection plates, and is flexible and easy to machine with the tools available at the construction sites. without causing a deterioration in heat transfer and economy.
According to the invention, these goals are achieved in that the insulation boards behind. have cut grooves, and that as a heat-releasing layer, a heat-conducting foil, preferably an optionally reinforced aluminum foil, is connected, preferably glued, to the top of the thermal insulation panel.
These measures ensure that the clamping effect on the heating pipes occurs through the insulation board, but since the aluminum foil is clamped non-positively between the insulation material and the heating pipe, this is also achieved
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
here an excellent heat transfer, but above all it is easily and easily possible to cut through the plates according to the invention at any point and thus, in particular in the marginal areas of rooms, to adapt to the given geometrical boundary conditions.
The measures according to the invention also make it possible to use the deflection plates with the
Laminate aluminum foil so that the deflection plates, unlike those from the
State of the art deflection plates are designed to give off heat and so the
Increase the overall efficiency of the heating system.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing.
1 shows a side view of an insulation board according to the prior art, FIGS. 2 and 2a each show an analog view of a board according to the invention and FIG. 3 shows a top view of a deflection board according to the invention.
As can be seen from FIG. 1, in the prior art a single plate of an underfloor heating insulation system, which is usually only called a clamping plate, consists of the actual plate 2 consisting of insulating material, in the upper side of which grooves 3 with straight (parallel to each other and normal to the surface 4) ) Grooves are provided. These grooves can either be created during the manufacture of the plate 2 or, after the completion of the raw plate with a flat surface, by milling or the like. created.
On the surface of the plate 2, a pre-formed sheet 5 is placed, which is provided with beads 6 which fit into the grooves 3. The beads 6, however, do not have flanks that are parallel to one another, but flanks that run at least over part of their height such that the grooves 3 are undercut, so that the thicker area of the beads 6 closes when pressed into the block 2 there is an elastic deformation of the webs between the grooves 3, whereby the sheet 5 is non-positively connected to the block 2 to the actual clamping plate 1. In FIG. 1, this is exaggerated for the sake of clarity and is shown without the contact surface being formed.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
The clamping plates 1 prepared in this way are now laid and, after laying all the necessary clamping plates, the heating pipes (not shown) are pressed into the beads 6 or grooves 3, which again becomes elastic during the pressing in
Deformation, now predominantly in the area of the surface 4, which occurs after the
Pressing in the heating pipes is at least partially reversed by their elasticity, as a result of which part of the surface of the heating pipes is held in the beads 6 or grooves 3 with a positive fit. Usually the heating pipes are not above the
Surface of the clamping plates.
FIG. 2 now shows, in the same view as FIG. 1, a clamping block 2 according to the invention, which is constructed as follows: grooves 3 of block 2 are already undercut per se, either by milling or also in the course of producing the block formed, that means that the groove width in the area of the surface 4 is smaller than in at least a lower-lying area of the groove. A heat-conducting film 5 ', preferably an aluminum film, is now applied, preferably glued, to this surface, including the surfaces of the grooves. 2 and 2a, the thickness of the
Thermally conductive film 5 'exaggerated for better compliance.
The heat-conducting film 5 'is able to conduct heat very well, but in contrast to the sheet 5, it has neither a noticeable inherent rigidity nor a noticeable weight.
In addition, it can be easily and neatly cut with the tools usually available on construction sites (knives, saws, hot cutting, etc.) and can therefore be cut to the required formats without any problems, just like block 2 itself.
These properties, the omission of the predetermined breaking points required in the prior art and also the reduced weight make it easy to produce the blocks 2 in a larger format than before, which further simplifies the laying.
All good heat-insulating materials can be considered as material for the blocks 2, in particular foamed materials such as PU (polyurethane) or EPS (expanded polystyrene).
So-called "hotmelt" or spray adhesive, or 1- but also 2-component adhesive can be used as the adhesive, as is known to the person skilled in the art in the field of plastics technology. Any heat-conducting film, for example
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
made of stainless steel or copper, reinforced or without reinforcement,
Aluminum foil, in particular with glass scrim or PE (polyethylene) in mesh form or
Reinforced lattice shape is preferred because of its properties, without the invention being restricted to the examples mentioned. Neither a reinforcement nor a layer of adhesive was shown in the drawing, since this is not necessary for an understanding of the invention.
As can easily be seen from what has been said and from the drawing, it comes to the
Pressing the heating pipes into the grooves 3 to fix them due to elastic deformations of the insulating material of the plate 2, so that the desired holding effect is also achieved here by non-positive fixing.
FIG. 3 shows a schematic top view of an embodiment according to the invention
Deflection block 2 '. Two mutually independent groove systems 3 are purely schematic,
3 ', for example the groove system 3 can correspond to a center distance of 12.5 cm each and the groove system 3' can correspond to a center distance of 25 cm of the heating pipes. It is easy to see that it is possible without great problems to suitably cover this more complex surface with aluminum foil and thus also make the deflection block 2 'useful as a heat-emitting surface, which was not possible in the prior art for cost reasons.
Of course, it is possible to dispense with it in a cheap variant or with sufficiently large areas and to design the deflection blocks 2 ', as in the prior art, without a heat transfer area.
The invention also relates to a method with which the heat-conducting film 5 'can be applied to the blocks 2: when the film is adapted to the surface of the block not to tear, the film is folded or wafed, preferably in two directions, so that it ultimately has a noticeably smaller dimension than the original film.
In the course of the subsequent application (lamination) of the film prepared in this way to the surface of the block, these folds or “waffles” are at least partially pulled apart and thus enable the film to conform to the surface in the area of the grooves, without tearing. In most cases, the multi-layer structure that remains on parts of the surface is irrelevant to the small thickness of the film.
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
Another possibility is to deep-draw the film before application, but this variant is associated with a greater outlay on equipment.
In both cases it is of course possible to cut the film into pieces, i.e. to use a piece of film for the area of the groove (s) and another piece of film for the flat area of the surface of the thermal insulation board. It is particularly possible to
To improve the heat transfer, to apply the piece applied later overlapping with the piece applied first and to form it at least in this area without (insulating) reinforcement.
The measures according to the invention, in addition to the technical advantages mentioned, also achieve great cost advantages over the prior art, by means of which the
System can also be used in cases that were previously closed to it, in particular smaller rooms with high waste.
The blocks can have dimensions from 500x250 mm to 1000x500 mm with thicknesses of 30 mm, of course, other sizes and thicknesses can also be used. The blocks can be provided with a layer of PE (polyethylene) with or without a fleece on their underside, improved impact sound properties and, on the other hand, the blocks according to the invention do not have to be laid on the floor but can also be installed on the wall be provided. The subsurface does not have to be dry-laid, the heating system can be used universally.
The grooves can have different shapes as long as this shape only exerts a reliable clamping effect on the pipes. The pipes can have the usual diameter range for such heating systems, 12 to 14 mm in the wall area and 16, 17 or 18 mm in the floor area can be used in most applications, without the invention being restricted to these dimensions or areas.
