   Man hat es in der Hand, den Austritt des Getreides durch Heben des Schiebers 19 vor die Austrittsöffnung 20 einzustellen, um das Getreide den Weg zwischen der Scheibe 10 und dem Gehäuse 2 nach Belieben wiederholen zu lassen und auf diese Weise dessen Reinigung gründlich zu bewerkstelligen. 



   Wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich ist, bestehen die Scheiben 7 und 10 aus Stein. 



  Es geschieht dies aus dem Grunde, um zur Herstellung der Putzvorrichtung anderweitig unbrauchbare, alte   Mühlsteine   verwenden zu können, welche an den Ober-und Unterseiten mit den nöthigen Furchen   a   bereits versehen sind. Weiters ermöglichen es solche Steine, die Vorrichtung auch zum Abspitzen resp. Schroten verwenden zu können, indem man den Raum 18 zwischen den Steinen entsprechend verringert.
