   Nachdem nun der Dorn 26 zurückgegangen ist, wird durch Drehen der Transporttrommel 25 nacheinander jedes Paar der Gelenkbandhälften vor die Löcherversenkvorrichtung gebracht, welche aus Fig. 2-teilweise in schematischer Darstellung-zu ersehen ist. Sie besteht in bekannter Weise aus einer Reihe seitlich verstellbarer Spindeln 29, die mittels Gelenken und Gelenkstangen 30 ihre Drehung vom Kopflage 31 aus erhalten. Bei dieser Versenkung wird, wie schon eingangs angegeben wurde, der bei der Lochung entstandene Grat mitentfernt. Bei weiterer Drehung der Trommel fallen die fertigen Gelenkhälften aus der Maschine heraus.
