    Elektrische Gaslampe.

    Electric gas lamp.

Experience has taught. that electric gas lamps come on the easier the @ the older they are. The present invention is now based on the finding. that this phenomenon is due to the fact that the lamp tube is fogged up on its inside due to evaporation of the electrode material and that this fogging makes it easier to start. New lamps would have to be worked in for a while, so to speak, so that they come on easily. as a result, a not inconsiderable part of the entire life of the lamp is lost. or it would have to be left to the consumer to take this unpleasant property of the lamp into account, which is difficult to approach, for a while.

In order to eliminate this disadvantage and to shorten or completely eliminate the familiarization period, in the electric gas lamp according to the present invention the inner wall of the light tube or a surface located inside it is wholly or partially artificially covered with a weak metallic or light emitting effect that only marginally affects the light emission metalloid fitting so that the lamp can switch on immediately and the operational safety is significantly increased.

tube or a surface arranged inside it, wholly or partially with a weak. the light emission is provided with metallic or metalloid fittings, which only marginally impair the light emission, in order to make it easier to turn on the lamp and to increase operational safety.
