Kapselmutter sowohl den einen konzentrischen Kugellaufring in seiner Lage fixiert und dadurch dem gesamten Lager die geforderte Lage gibt, als man auch gleichzeitig mit derselben Kapselmutter beim Zurückdrehen derselben die auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite sitzende Kurbel abzieht und das Lager aus seiner Lagermuffe herausbringt.
Die Erfindung ist auf der Zeichnung in einem Querschnitt veranschaulicht.
Die Tretkurbellagermuffe a des Fahrradrahmens ist einseitig zu einem grösseren Durch- messer 6 abgesetzt, um zwei von entsprechendem Durchmesser gehaltene konzentrische Kugellager c und d unterbringen zu können. Die Entfernung dieser beiden Kugellager wird in bekannter Weise durch ein Distanzrohr e bestimmt. Nach aussen sind die Lager durch geeignete Filz- dichtungen f oder dgl. abgeschlossen. Einseitig befindet sich auf dem einen Ende des Tretkurbellagers die Staubkapselmutter g.
Die Wirkungsweise ist folgende : Hiebei sei vorweg bemerkt, dass bei dem auf der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel die rechte Kurbel mit der Kurbelachse aus einem Stück hergestellt ist ; es kann natürlich in derselben Weisse, wie das links geschehen ist, die rechte Kurbel vierkantig auf die Achse aufgesetzt werden.
Auf die Kurbelachse h setzt man, nachdem man die Staubkapselmutter 9 mit Dichtung lose aufgesteckt hat, das Lager mit grösserem Aussendurchmesser d, alsdann das Distanzröhrchen e und zuletzt das Lage: c auf und verschraubt diese Zusammenstellung durch eine auf der Achse
